Matrix planner wins AFA Rising Star award

Matrix Planning Solutions authorised representative Jason Danjoux is the 2006 Association of Financial Advisers’ Rising Star of the Year.
Currently employed at Pedersen Financial Services at Baulkham Hills, Sydney, Danjoux was one of 22 nominees for the national award, which was sponsored by ING.
His acquisition of 200 clients on his register, with approximately $10 million in FUM, tipped the judges vote in his favour, according to AFA chief executive Richard Klipin.
Presenting the award at the 60th Annual AFA Conference, he said Danjoux “represents the best levels of service and holistic advice that are being generated by the emerging generation”.
Susan Impey, practice manager and life risk specialist for Donegal Financial Planning in Brisbane, was runner-up to Danjoux, and, with Danjoux, one of five award finalists.
Impey’s progression from a university student working part-time in the sector to running Donegal’s Life Risk Division has taken only five years, Klipin said.
