Matrix adds regional practice; looking for 10 more
Matrix Planning Solutions has acquired a regional NSW practice, A&B Financial Planning in Temora, the company announced.
Matrix is also looking to add a further 10 practices nationwide and grow by approximately 120 advisers, the company said.
“The philosophy that the group has in terms of how clients should be looked after and serviced fits well with how we run our business,” said A&B Financial Planning practice principal Andrew Parr.
“It is this focus on strategic comprehensive advice and ensuring a client’s needs are fully catered for which is perfectly aligned with our beliefs and our path going forward,” he added.
Parr joined the banking industry about 30 years ago, working up to the position of branch manager with the Commonwealth Bank before buying equity in a Temora-based accounting firm in 2000.
He established A&B Financial Planning last year, with the practice growing to five staff members and plans to take on more this year. Clients are predominantly working and retired farmers and small business owners based over a wide geographical area.
