Macquarie's new online solution
Macquarie Financial Planning Software has launched a new online solution and upgraded its product set.
The company announced this week that its new online solution, Visor Lite, represented an upgrade of its Visor Desktop product aimed at helping independent financial advisers to work more effectively by introducing mobile access and improving usability.
As well, it said the latest release of Visor Desktop included improvements to assist IFAs with Future of Financial Advice (FOFA) compliance and enhancements to help with reporting and productivity.
This included new fee disclosure fields and the ability to assign service packages to specific client segments; and new reports and reporting filters for client opt-in and other services.
Commenting on the changes, Macquarie Financial Planning Software head, Kirk Pitman said they were intended to help IFA businesses to be more efficient.
“Within the current environment of regulatory change, technology can play an important role in supporting advisers,” he said.
Visor Lite is intended to help advisers access client records, portfolio balances and transaction history from a browser or a tablet device.
