Macquarie Wrap gets new treatment
A ‘quicklink’ function from the Macquarie Wrap adviser homepage and downloadable multiple dealer reports are among a number of new features the group has added to its platform offering.
Developed in consultation with advisers, the quicklink function will allow advisers to easily access information they use on a regular basis, such as clients’ funds under administration, wrap offer documents or the Macquarie Wrap investment menu. This is made possible via a pop-up menu that links to the relevant sections of the clients’ personal information on the wrap website.
The function works similarly to the esi Navigation feature between the adviser desktop and platform web pages, which was introduced on Coin Software and is to be rolled out with other software providers soon.
The head of Macquarie Wrap Product Doug Chang said the quicklink would mean advisers no longer have to do multiple keystrokes or view several different parts of the site to access clients’ information.
Other enhancements are an alerts page allowing advisers to view a list of recent automated processes such as automatic cash management plans, which contains a list of clients who have had financial plans that have run successfully, and outline those whose plans need adjusting.
A number of other features will be added in coming months, including further automated process alerts such as dollar cost averaging and automatic rebalancing.
