Lonsec upgrades Bennelong fund

Ratings house Lonsec has upgraded its rating on the Bennelong ex-20 Australian Equities Fund to 'recommended'.
The upgraded rating was confirmed this week, with Lonsec investment analyst Thembi Matabiswana referencing the experience of the fund’s investment team.
The fund is managed by Bennelong Australian Equity Partners and provides investors with access to a unique Australian equities portfolio that invests in companies outside the top 20 ASX listed stocks.
“The investment team has remained stable over the years, a clear demonstration of the cohesive culture in the organisation,” Thembi said.
The Lonsec analysis also referenced the fund’s one-year return sitting above the Lonsec assessed peer average.
