IDT distributes Integratext in software
IDT has brokered an agreement with education provider IntegraTecthat will see the planning software company provide a reference manual for financial services professionals, created by Integratec, as part of its software package.
The manual, called Integratext, consists of over 1500 pages of information on topics, such as tax and compliance, with specific relevance to financial services. It was compiled from both texts and industry sources.
IDT executive of strategy Alison Burns says the manual might be considered the “financial planning bible,” as it has all basic information relating to financial planning services.
“IDT’s goal is to create an holistic service, where everything that a financial planner might need in one place - our software,” Burns says.
Burns, who says the two groups have been in discussions for six months, believes that in the present age of compliance, the supplying of a product like Integratext is even more relevant.
The Integratext manual is currently in the process of being rolled out to existing IDT clients in the latest version of its software, and Burns says this roll out will be complete within two weeks.
Integratec general manager John Prowse says that the combination of both IDT’s software and Integratext will mean top quality financial and risk advice is given to clients.
IDT presently provides financial planning and risk planning software as well as information services and commission management to 4000 advisers and life agents.
