Good health pays off for Asteron customers
Being healthy will soon pay off for Asteron customers in the form of up to 20 per cent off their insurance premium.
The Healthy Plus Option will give Asteron Lifeguard policyholders significant premium reductions if they meet certain criteria.
Asteron general manager Jordan Hawke said this benefit would give Asteron advisers a retention rate that is hard to compete with.
"Our research reveals that a primary customer consideration is finding an insurer that cares beyond the premium," Hawke said.
"I'm proud of Asteron's ongoing commitment to playing a larger role in the lives of our customers, providing extra benefits to help them get healthy and maintain good health," he added.
The 20 per cent discount will apply immediately and can be continued for the life of the policy simply by reporting health measures annually.
Even if customers choose not to resubmit reports, their discount will only be reduced by 1 per cent annually and they are guaranteed a minimum ongoing discount of 10 per cent.
