FSP Portfolio Services, the platform business of the FSP Group, has partnered with self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) administration provider Super Concepts to launch a new SMSF service called FSP Origin SMSF.

FSP Origin SMSF employs the administration facilities of Super Concepts, with portfolio service provided by FSP Portfolio Services Prestige Plus.

Director of platform and product for the FSP Group, Robert Swil, said the company already provided advice on SMSFs.

"This allows advisers to provide a full package of services, including access to managed funds," Swil said.

"In speaking with advisers over the last 12 months, one of the most frequent themes has been how difficult it is to start out in the SMSF space. As a result, we have worked closely with FSP Portfolio Services to develop the FSP Origin SMSF administration service," said Super Concepts managing director Craig Jameson.

Super Concepts has been operating in the SMSF segment of the superannuation industry since 1985 and maintains more than 35,000 SMSFs.
