Freshwater launches offshore offering
Industry veterans Julie Rigoni and Peter Dawson have announced the launch of two offshore programs as part of The Freshwater Partnership’s offering to the Australian financial services industry.
The two programs — The Leaders in Financial Excellence (LIFE) program and The Global Adviser Program (GAP) — have been specifically designed for senior financial planners and wealth management executives.
According to The Freshwater Partnership principal Julie Rigoni, both programs feature strong content, unique networking opportunities and access to high-level industry leaders.
“Our objective is to provide industry professionals, including advisers, with the opportunity to see how the rest of the world conducts its businesses, including how they plan to build and regain momentum post [global financial crisis],” Rigoni said.
The first program — LIFE — heads to the UK and Europe on 22 June.
The 10-day program will provide attendees with an insight into the key themes and drivers in global markets, product design and innovation. Participants will have access to investment strategists, economists, senior advisers and wealth management executives in small interactive sessions.
From London, the program will move to Monaco, where participants will join fellow delegates attending Europe’s leading investment management conference, the New Fund Forum.
“LIFE will benefit those who want direct access to international industry specialists and wealth management firms,” Dawson said. “The program has been designed to provide fresh thinking and a range of new ideas that participants can draw on for the benefit of their businesses and clients.”
The second program — GAP — includes two components. The first is a trip to the UK on 18 September, with the seven-day itinerary including attendance of the Institute of Financial Planning conference, meetings in London with financial services professionals, and a round table discussion with industry experts and business professionals.
The second component of GAP is a trip to the USA. The six-day October trip departs Sydney on 7 October, with the agenda including the US FPA conference in Denver, meetings in New York with American-based businesses, a round table with industry experts and business to business sessions.
