FPA Fellow Awards nominations open
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is calling for nominations for its 2010 Fellow Awards, which recognise outstanding commitment to the industry.
“Every year we acknowledge the hard work done by our members through this award, and I’m positive that after a tough 2009 we will have many worthy nominations,” said chief executive Jo-Anne Bloch. “So many of our members deserve to be acknowledged for the work they do for their clients and the greater community, and I urge all FPA practitioner members who are eligible to come forward and nominate themselves.”
Eligible nominees are FPA practitioners who have at least 15 years of experience working in the financial planning industry. They must also have been an FPA member for 10 years or more, and have a minimum of five years experience working in a financial planning practice.
“Our profession has been through so much over the past year, and we managed to get through due to the tireless work of our exceptional members,” said Bloch. “This award is about recognising those who selflessly strive to better our profession.”
Entries close on February 26.
