FPA announces education workshops
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has announced a series of educational workshops as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations which will be held in capital cities around the country during November and December.
The workshops will target financial planners and will feature topics such as: integrating trust into your advice process, building your aged care value proposition and planning for death in self-managed super funds.
The workshops will celebrate the FPA's 20th birthday and will replace the association's National Conference for 2012 only.
"Continuous education is vital for all financial planners to progress in their careers and provide clients with up-to-date professional and trusted advice," FPA chief executive Mark Rantall said.
"These workshops are about improving technical expertise [and] ensuring attendees achieve maximum benefit; these workshops are not about selling products," he added.
The workshops will be followed by a networking function where the FPA will present its Best Practice Awards.
