Macquarie University has developed a postgraduate diploma and masters degrees in financial services law.

Macquarie University has developed a postgraduate diploma and masters degrees in financial services law.

The postgraduate diploma in financial services law is for those interested in working in the areas of insurance, superannuation and financial planning, especially those in management positions such as compliance, training and business development.

Students can complete a master of financial services law by taking an extra units in the course, which involves study over two years on a part-time basis.

The master of laws in financial services (LLM) is for those with a legal qualification wishing to develop a commercial law career in financial services. It deals with a vari-ety of issues in superannuation, insurance, taxation law, estate planning, retirement planning, compliance and the marketing of financial services.

The programs will be offered from June 2000.
