Deutsche launches adviser products
Deutsche Asset Management has rolled out a series of mezzanine products targeted at financial advisers.
The Alpha Fund will be offered to advisers through more than five Australian master trust menus.
Deutsche's head of retail funds management, Bruce Murphy, says the group will hopefully be placed on Asgard's master trust list in April and the group is still in talks with a few banking institutions.
"At the moment, we feel the master trust market is growing rapidly. Seventy per cent of fund manager flows are going into master trust and wrap accounts," he says.
The fund, which began in July last year has already successfully become part of Macquarie Bank's wrap, BT online wrap, the AM Corporation master trust, and most recently, the Navigator menu.
Murphy says the product has a style mutual approach.
"At present the product adds growth to a portfolio at a reasonable price," he says.
Earlier this year, Deutsche's Alpha Fund was given a AA rating by research group van Eyk research.
