Deakin Financial ServicesGroup has opened a new sales and administration office in Brisbane as part of its strategy to provide local, visible and accessible support for advisers, and its continuing push to establish a national presence.

According to Deakin general manager sales and marketing, Graeme Hyland “it is important that advisers have access to a local office that can provide the appropriate support, service and training essential to their ongoing business management activities”.

“I am confident that this on-going commitment to service and support will ensure that Deakin’s adviser growth targets will be achieved this calendar year,” Hyland says.

Since opening the office, Queensland and New South Wales state manager Bill Crawford, who is responsible for the group’s sales, recruitment and adviser support activities in the two states says he has received a number of “enquiries from advisers wishing to learn more about Deakin, its recently launched wrap platform Smartplan and other adviser focused services and initiatives”.

“Deakin continues to steadily build on its successes and remains committed to establishing a presence nationally,” Hyland says.
