Credit Agricole develops research on ETFs
Credit Agricole Structured Asset Management (CASAM) is partnering with the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre to develop academic research into exchange traded fund (ETF) investments after releasing a range of ETFs.
The EDHEC will examine advanced forms of risk budgeting in a dynamic core-satellite approach to asset management and how they are used by investors and asset managers.
The research will run for three years. A board of CASAM and EDHEC personnel will supervise the research.
"CASAM has chosen to offer investors a range of high quality ETFs, which are among the most cost efficient on the market. As a result of both the new CASAM ETF range and our partnership with the EDHEC Risk and Management Centre, we will bring our clients real added value, from an economic point of view and in terms of investment strategy," said chief executive of CASAM Fathi Jerfel.
The research team will first investigate the use of ETFs by European investors. The results will be released at the end of May.
