Cormann ‘convinced’ on Sinodinos return

The Minister for Finance and Acting Assistant Treasurer, Senator Mathias Cormann has said he's convinced Senator Arthur Sinodinos will be returning to the Government's front-bench.
Asked on Perth radio how it was managing to be both the Minister for Finance and the acting Assistant Treasurer, Cormann said his continuation in the two roles was entirely a matter for the Prime Minister, Tony Abbott.
"These are entirely matters for the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has asked me to do a job. I'm doing it to the best of my ability, working doing the best I can every day and that is what I'll continue to do until such time as there is a change to those arrangements. That's not a matter for me," he said.
Asked whether he was as convinced as the Treasurer, Joe Hockey, that Sinodinos would be back, Cormann said that he was "convinced, absolutely".
"Arthur Sinodinos is an outstanding contributor. He's a great individual. We all very much look forward to him coming back to the front bench as soon as possible," he said.
