Industry Super Network chief executive, David Whiteley will find himself pitted against some of the financial planning industry's key executives at a Money Management/Association of Financial Advisers breakfast in Sydney in August.

The breakfast will focus on the policy changes likely to be imposed on the financial planning industry after the forthcoming Federal Election, with speakers including not only Whiteley but the Shadow Assistant Treasurer, Senator Mathias Cormann, Matrix Financial Planning chief executive Rick DiCristoforo and Commonwealth Bank advice head Marianne Perkovic.

The theme of the breakfast will be "Competition, Consolidation and Confrontation — the post-election paradigm".

Front and centre in the discussion and debate will be the recently-released research on Future of Financial Advice costs undertaken for the ISN by actuarial consultancy, Rice Warner.
