Commbank appoints new Financial Planning GM

The Commonwealth Bank has made two key financial advice-related appointments with AMP's Hugh Humphrey becoming General Manager, Bank Financial Planning, while an independent chair has been appointed to the Commonwealth Bank Wealth Management Advice Company Boards.
At the same time as announcing Humphrey's appointment, the bank said that Anne Templeman-Jones would replace Commonwealth Bank Management Group Executive, Annabel Spring as Chari of the Boards, with Spring continuing to serve as a director.
Humphrey has been recruited from AMP where he was Director Strategy and Transformation for the Advice, AMP Bank and Corporate Super Business and was a former managing director of Hillross Financial Services.
He will take up his new position in February.
Templeman-Jones is the first independent Chair of the Commonwealth Bank Wealth Management Advice Company Boards and has a strong advisory background in both Australia and New Zealand with respect to companies such as Westpac, ANZ and Bank of New Zealand.
