Coin integrates Lonsec research
Coin Software is partnering with research house Lonsec to provide unlisted investment research through its software platform.
Due to planner demand for an expanded research offering, Coin Office has integrated Lonsec research covering traditional and alternative asset classes, such as managed funds and structured products. Coin is looking to expand its offering to agribusiness and investment research in the future.
Coin said the one-page reports, to be updated on a monthly basis, feature quantitative data for more than 7,500 funds, as well as data on fund strategies, investment objectives, asset allocations, and performance history.
The software provider, which already offers access to research from van Eyk, said the addition would eliminate data entry duplication across applications, streamlining planners’ workloads.
Users of Coin’s service will also receive fund updates, which include risk/return and performance data, quarterly Lonsec research opinion and ratings reports, and annual fund reviews.
