Coe departs Allco board

The executive chairman of troubled financial services group Allco Finance Group Limited has resigned along with two other executive directors, Gordon Fell and David Turnbull, effectively handing control of the board to independent non-executive directors.

The company said the board would be moving to appoint a new independent chairman, but that in the meantime deputy chairman Bob Mansfield would chair meetings.

Coe will remain an executive with the group.
