The founder and former owner of Centric Wealth, Robert Keavney, has died at age 62 after a long illness. Keavney was well known in the financial planning sector as an industry commentator whose opinions were often featured in mainstream and trade media, including Money Management.

Keavney ran his own practice, Investor Security Group, with his wife Glenese, which from 2002 to 2005 was involved in a number of acquisitions and mergers, changing its name to Centrestone and then to Centric Wealth, which was eventually purchased by Findex in March 2014.

Keavney died on 18 December last year and his funeral was held in 23 December. He is survived by Glenese and three children David, Anna and Melinda.
