Bennelong's Avoca Emerging Leaders Fund 'highly rated'
Research house van Eyk has awarded the Bennelong Avoca Emerging Leaders Fund a "highly rated" designation.
The fund is managed by Avoca Investment Management, which is headed by portfolio manager John Campbell and Jeremy Bendeich, who established the company in 2011 in partnership with Bennelong Funds Management.
According to the company, Avoca utilises a bottom-up fundamental investment process focusing on longer-term sustainable cash flows while exploiting short-term market inefficiencies. It typically holds 35 stocks from the S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries and S&P/ASX Mid-Cap 50 Indices.
The company pointed out that over the year since 30 September 2011 the fund had returned 9.84 per cent, outperforming the benchmark by 6.01 per cent.
