Basis Yield Alpha Fund in provisional liquidation – reports
Wire services have reported that Basis Capital’s Basis Yield Alpha Fund has been placed into provisional liquidation.
Money Management has sought confirmation of a Bloomberg report that Basis Capital sought an order from a court in the Cayman Islands to liquidate the assets.
The Bloomberg report quoted joint provisional liquidator Paul Billingham as saying that the liquidators were undertaking an immediate assessment of the fund’s financial position and any likely returns to investors.
