AZ NGA has announced a strategic partnership with Rose Partners, a Melbourne-based accounting and advisory business with a high-net-worth and healthcare professional client base.

According to AZ NGA’s chief executive, Paul Barrett, the advice group was an exceptional business that brought “innovative solutions” to the market.

“Rose Partners is a high-calibre business with deep specialisation. A number of AZ NGA member firms that operate in the healthcare space have worked with the team there to support mutual clients so there is already a lot of trust and familiarity,” Barrett said.

Earlier this year, AZ NGA acquired a stake in Victorian accounting and advisory firm McLean Delmo Bentleys and in SCM Financial Group, a diversified wealth management, financial planning, accounting and finance business.

Rose Partners was established in 1976 and provided a range of business advisory services.

Its core services span taxation, corporate consultancy, management, business and strategic planning, investment, valuations, and due diligence analysis.

Through the group’s Rose Health division, it assisted healthcare professionals looking to buy, sell or finance, including due diligence, valuations and transaction support.

Its diverse client base also included the construction industry, retail sector, hospitality, financial services and agriculture.

Ben Simon, partner at Rose Partners, said the partnership with AZ NGA would enable the group to achieve key goals, which include creating opportunities for junior partners to buy in and accelerate expansion plans.

He said: “We are a mature business with a highly experienced leadership team and ambitious plans to grow organically and through M&A.

“We have the right structure, processes and systems in place to drive efficiencies and growth, and we want to share our knowledge and expertise to create value for our staff, clients and business partners.”
