AMP gets another banker
AMP has recruited a Westpac executive to head up its AMP Bank division.
The company announced this week that it had appointed Westpac’s head of customer solutions and integration for working capital and trade Michael Lawrence as managing director of AMP Bank.
Lawrence will be succeeding Stephen White in the role, with White retiring from AMP in December after 42 years with the company.
Lawrence will start with AMP in late November. He has previously worked at National Australia Bank.
