AMP is increasing the accessibility of its retirement offering, with advisers and customers gaining access to Challenger annuities through the wealth managers adviser portal and digital customer tools.

Challenger’s term annuities, Liquid Lifetime range and CarePlus products would be accessible through the portal, along with pre-population features for customer data.

“Achieving quality of life in retirement is an important goal for many Australians,” said AMP director of superannuation, retirement and investments, Vicki Doyle.

“Making annuities easily accessible for our advisers and customers further strengthens our retirement offer, helping them develop, track and benefit from goals-based investment strategies.”

AMP North and MyNorth platforms, AMP Flexible Super and SignatureSuper customers would also be able to access Challenger annuities through AMP’s wealth management app.
