AFS appoints Xplan site administrator
Australian Financial Services Group (AFS) has announced the appointment of Mary Delzoppo as AFS Xplan site administrator.
AFS chief executive and managing director Peter Daly stated the newly created role would provide a central in-house resource and point of contact for all AFS advisers and practice principals.
Delzoppo's role will be pivotal at AFS as she will be responsible for the management and execution of all Xplan technical queries and ongoing financial adviser support, Daly added.
Prior to joining AFS, Delzoppo was the financial support consultant at Guild Financial Services where she managed the Xplan database and provided support to the group's financial planners and paraplanners nationally.
Before that, she worked for boutique financial planning firms Alkimia Financial and ANZ Mortgage Solutions.
According to AFS, Delzoppo's key priority will be to manage the AFS Xplan Integrated Solution, an Xplan service specifically customised for the dealer group.
In addition, Delzoppo will work to provide training to ensure AFS staff are aware of new software developments.
