CareSuper director and former chair dies
CareSuper director and former chairman of the board Michael O'Sullivan has died after more than 16 years with the superannuation fund.
"Michael will be remembered for his dedication to achieving positive outcomes for members, his wise and measured contribution and his integrity," CareSuper said.
O'Sullivan was nominated to the CareSuper board by the Australian Services Union (ASU) in 1996 and served as the chairman from 2006 until March 2012.
He was the inaugural president of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors, manning the post for a decade until 2011.
Additionally, O'Sullivan also served on both the world and Asia-Pacific executives of the Union Network International.
