Research and ratings house, Zenith Investment Partners has appointed former Legg Mason executive, Anthony Pesutto as its new Marketing and Communications Manager.

The company said that Pesutto would be filling what represented a newly-created position and would be reporting to Zenith managing partner, David Wright.

It said that in the new role, Pesutto would be responsible for building a marketing and communications platform that was best-practice to help grow the firm’s existing research, advice and portfolio solution businesses.

The announcement said Pesutto had over 20 years’ experience in financial services marketing and investment research and was a co-founder of Lonsec Managed Funds Research.

Commenting on the appointment, Wright said Zenith was delighted to have Pesutto joining its team given his proven track record.

The appointment comes as Zenith seeks to build a leading position in the provision of managed account solutions, to complement its existing research and portfolio solution franchises.
