New CEO for Challenger Infrastructure Fund
The Challenger Infrastructure Fund has a new chief executive, with Emil Pahljina stepping into the role and replacing Steve Bickerton.
Challenger announced that Bickerton would be stepping down and leaving the company.
Commenting on the changes, the chair of Challenger Listed Investments Limited Brenda Shanahan said Bickerton had successful led the fund for almost five years since its IPO in 2005.
She said that Pahljina had been with the fund since 2006, and was responsible for the origination and management of infrastructure assets. Before that he was head of principal acquisitions and investments for Westpac’s Specialised Fund Management Group.
