Equiti appoints two new financial advisers

Wealth management group Equiti Private Wealth announced it has appointed two senior financial advisers in Gregory Fuzi and Peter Sheather, bringing the team total from four to six advisers.
Sheather has more than 30 years financial services industry experience and has managed and expanded his own AMP financial planning business for over 25 years.
Sheather Financial Services provided financial planning, risk and general insurance advice to over 2,000 clients.
Sheather has since worked for Integral Asset Management and Refund Financial Planning, Equiti stated.
Fuzi has over 17 years financial services experience, having worked for ipac, Schroder Investment Management, AXA and Staffordshire Financial Services, where he specialised in financial planning, corporate super, risk and capital raising.
"We are witnessing particular growth in new clients looking for advice on their superannuation," said Rod Humphreys, general manager, Equiti Private Wealth.
"We have developed a very affordable [self managed super fund] solution that gives our clients greater control of their financial future. This is leading to a significant increase in client demand and our funds under advice.
"We are therefore very pleased to have secured two new senior advisers to our team," Humphreys said.
