Austock Group Limited has appointed Bruce Rolin as joint head of institutional sales within its Sydney office. He will share his role with Tony Smith, whose base will remain in Melbourne.

Rolin joins Austock from stockbroker MINC Financial Services and he brings 25 years experience in financial markets. His roles include long-standing directorships with Morgan Stanley Australia, RBS and RBS Morgans.

Austock Group’s chief executive officer Paul Masi said Rolin’s excellent reputation within the industry over many years makes him a great appointment for the company.

“Bruce is well known and highly regarded in the institutional broking community and it is highly gratifying to recruit someone of his calibre to lead our team,” Masi said.

Bruce Rolin is qualified in equities, futures and derivatives, and graduated in education from the University of Alberta, Canada.
