Contango hires compliance and legal officer
Boutique wholesale investment manager, Contango Asset Management, has appointed former Equity Trustees employee, Skye Radley, as its legal and compliance officer.
Radley prevoiusly worked at Equity Trustees and where she oversaw legal and complaince matters associated with 200 managed investment schemes, Contango said.
Contango Asset Management chief investment officer, George Boubouras, said her appointment was an imporant step for the business in keeping up with its high degree of regulatory scruitinty.
She would add exceptional experience to the compliance team and ensure the business was on the right path, he said.
Based in Melbourne, the company was set to list on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in September.
