Centrepoint Alliance appoints CIO

Centrepoint Alliance is extending its service offer to advisers and clients with the appointment of former Citibank employee, Toby Lewis, to the position of chief investment officer (CIO).
Centrepoint managing director, John de Zwart, said the increased demand from advice firms for investment advice and consulting services had prompted the appointment.
"With guidance and support from our community of financial advisers and licensees, we are building our capabilities in the areas advisers have told us they need support," he said.
"With Toby's wealth of experience, he is perfectly placed to develop this service."
Under the Centrepoint adviser community, Lewis would assist firms with the design and implementation of client-centric work practices. He would also build on existing Centrepoint research capabilities and continue the development of partnerships with fund managers for the delivery of new solutions.
