Money Management's sister title ifa is hosting a free webcast in February on how one retirement income solution could prepare clients for retirement, sponsored by Allianz Retire+.

On 20 February 2024 at 11am AEDT, ifa will run a live, free webcast, titled Unlocking Retirement Certainty: Rethinking retirement income portfolios with Allianz Retire+ head of technical service Justine Marquet.

AGILE – or Allianz Guaranteed Income for Life – is a long-term retirement income solution, which is designed to meet two goals specific to investing in retirement, according to Allianz Retire+.

The first is to grow retirement savings while reducing or limiting risk, while the second is to secure the certainty of a stable and sustainable guaranteed income for life.

During the 60-minute webcast, Marquet – alongside ifa editor and host Maja Garaca Djurdjevic – will provide a comprehensive overview of AGILE, its target audience, and the circumstances under which it could be used for clients.

Marquet will also address any queries from the audience throughout the webcast.

Australia’s demography is evolving in unison with the retirement income landscape, as prolonged life expectancy increases concerns among retirees of longevity risk amid economic uncertainties and market turbulence.

This requires advisers to construct retirement portfolios for clients that balance capital, income, and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

In the webcast, Marquet will provide insights into the features of AGILE, what sets it apart from other retirement income solutions, and how retirees could use it to de-risk their retirement portfolio while alleviating longevity risk and preserving access to capital.

In addition, she will offer an understanding of the target audience for AGILE, and scenarios where it could become a pivotal choice, how to navigate the complexities of retirement portfolios, and how to prepare for retirement that ensures financial security for retirees.

Don’t miss out on gaining valuable insights into how to reshape income strategies for clients.

The live, free webcast will be streamed on 20 February 2024 at 11am AEDT.
